This project consisted of the design, planning, tender and construction supervision of a complete refurbishment and upgrade to the existing two storey convention centre at the Clayton Hotel, Silversprings in 2016.
The existing western entrance was removed and reinstated with a new main entrance façade and elegant foyer incorporating structural glazing, bespoke stainless steel elements together with a stone façade system.
Completing an extensive refurbishment of the ground floor ballroom the works also included the construction & fit-out of 10 new corporate meeting rooms on the first floor level.
The scope also included the provision of upgraded kitchens and food service areas which optimized the existing back of house spaces. Public toilets and existing staff quarters were reconfigured in a carefully considered design layout.
